The Parks Superintendent has a passion for a profession that is all about quality-of-life opportunities! Under the direction of the Public Works Director, the Parks Superintendent will oversee a $1.
2M budget and 12 team members, including part-time and seasonal staff that are responsible for City facilities and park operations, administration, and city events, and new projects to meet the needs of our City Council Strategic Goals.

If this describes you and you meet the following requirements, we would be happy to speak with you:
Bachelor's degree in Parks and Recreation, Landscape Architecture, Business Administration or Public Administration; AND five (5) years' experience in community services program management, including at least three (3) year's supervisory experience; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid Texas Class C driver's license.
Must be able to obtain CPR certification within one (1) year of hire Must be able to obtain TDA non-commercial, political pesticide applicator's license within one (1) year of hire and/or City offering the course.
Must be able to obtain Certified Playground Safety Inspector certification within one (1) year of hire and/or City offering the course.

Salary range is $65,844.
85 - $98,767.
